Post No. 57 Nan Gwynant

This is the valley of Nan Gwynant in the Snowdonia National Park,  in fact Mount Snowdon is just out of site, 2 miles to the north west of the lake Llyn Gwynant.   The A498 road from Betws y Coed to the east descends 600 feet into the valley with splendid views of the lake on the dissent.

Located in the Gynedd, the valley and lake were formed by glacial action during an earlier ice age.
